Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Spatly platform (including the website, Spatly Studio, published surfaces located at spatly.io/s/<id> and on custom domains, embeds, the REST API, the MCP server and the Spatly Marks package, together the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Account Registration and Workspaces
To author and publish you must create an account. Content lives in workspaces; a workspace has an owner and may have admins, editors and viewers. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintain the security of your password and of every API and MCP token issued to your workspace.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or tokens.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account and, if you are the workspace owner, for everything done in your workspace by its members and by agents using its tokens.
- Be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
Free and Paid Services
Spatly offers Free, Pro and Team plans, and Enterprise agreements on request. Free workspaces receive limited project, dataset, storage, live-binding and member allocations. Paid subscriptions include higher quotas and additional features such as custom domains and removal of the “Made with Spatly” badge. Limits are enforced per workspace. Subscription plans, pricing and allocations are described on our pricing page.
If you downgrade, projects above the new limit remain published for 30 days and are then set to draft, oldest first; nothing is deleted, and upgrading restores them.
Your Content
You retain ownership of every project, dataset, surface, theme and asset you upload or create lawfully. You grant Spatly a limited licence to store, process, render and serve that content for you, for your workspace members and for anyone you publish or embed it for, as needed to provide the Service. We will not access your content except to operate the Service, to answer a support request you make, or as required by law. We do not claim ownership of your output data.
You are responsible for having the rights to the data you upload and for the attributions your basemaps and sources require. Published surfaces are yours to take down at any time: setting a surface to draft removes it from public links and embeds immediately; snapshots may persist in caches for up to 24 hours.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Publish content that infringes intellectual property, defames, harasses, or exposes personal data you are not entitled to publish.
- Collect personal data without a lawful basis under applicable data protection laws.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, agent budgets, rate limits, security measures or access controls.
- Distribute malware, engage in denial-of-service attacks, or use the Service to attack other systems.
- Scrape published surfaces at a rate that degrades the Service; use the REST API and the embed runtime instead.
- Resell or redistribute data obtained through the platform without authorization.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited messages or to mine cryptocurrency.
Basemap tile providers have their own fair-use terms; we may switch a workspace to a raster fallback if its traffic endangers our access for everyone.
API, MCP Tokens and Agents
REST API and MCP access is subject to the workspace agent budget and rate limits shown in Settings and on the pricing page. Tokens are scoped (read, write, publish), are shown once at creation, and may be revoked by you at any time or by us if they are abused. Actions an agent takes with your token, such as creating chapters, insight containers or share links, are your actions under these terms.
The Spatly Marks package exported from your workspace may be used in your own products, including commercial ones, as long as you do not resell the kit itself as a standalone icon set.
AI Features
Some features (“Start from a prompt”, generated chapters and captions) are produced by a large language model through Anthropic’s API from the schema, statistics and sample rows of your dataset. Generated text can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing it before you publish, and we make no warranty as to its accuracy or fitness for a purpose. Your content is not used to train models.
Payment and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle’s terms. Payments are processed securely and we never store your credit card details. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Paddle issues invoices and receipts and collects any applicable VAT or sales tax.
We may change prices with 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply at your next renewal.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Billing → Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid access until that date. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law and Paddle’s refund procedures.
Availability and Support
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided as is. We announce planned maintenance in advance where practical. Support is by email at support@spatly.io; response targets depend on the plan.
Limitation of Liability
Spatly is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, nor for loss of data you have not exported. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where you live.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately and your published surfaces, embeds and tokens stop working. Account data may be deleted after 30 days. You can request deletion of your workspace or account at any time by writing to support@spatly.io.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tekirdağ, Turkey, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance.
